Here is the province of Boyer Ahmad, my birthplace, and this is the story of our sorrowful forced migration from our beautiful village “Kata”. The story of days and nights that passed with pain, affliction, and dread. “Malek Hoseini” the brutal Imam Jomeh of Yasuj stated that the “shedding blood of Baha’is, confiscation of their property and lands, possession of their wives and daughters is lawful” and instigated the prejudiced and ignorant people of adjacent small villages to harass and persecute the Baha’is. The Bahai’s of adjacent small villages all sought refuge, with empty hands and bare feet, from fear in our village, whose majority population were Baha’i. “Habib Bahador” the commander of one of tribes of Boyer Ahmad, at the incitement of the Imam Jomeh, armed several hundred people of his tribe and sent them to “Kata” to drive out the Baha’is from the village through the creation of horror and fear.
