Where does teaching grammar and hygiene to impoverished children constitute a crime? In what land does having permission from the government to run a social and economic development project mean nothing and lead to four years of imprisonment? In their native Iran, Raha, Sasan and Haleh were imprisoned for four years for engaging in a service project. This painting in three canvases symbolizes their imprisonment simply for helping their fellow citizens.
